Each year SwimsuitUSA International model search brings together the most beautiful swimsuit models from around the world to compete for their title. This past year, they held their annual event on the tropical island of the Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana.

BikiniTeam is an official media partner of Swimsuit USA and we couldn’t be more stoked to be a part of this awesome annual event. It’s also happened to be the stop for our 2016 CaribTour where we choose models to take part in feature photo and video shoots. The footage will ultimately be seen on our websites and social media accounts including our very popular YouTube channel.

The swimsuit models always want unwind and let their hair down so to speak. Especially after all the sunrise photo shoots, choreography for pageant dance routines and event rehearsals. One of the coolest activities, we mean that literally, is the ultra-popular trip to swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery. It was just a short bus ride from the resort and once they arrived, everyone got to relax and do some sunbathing while waiting for the group’s turn to swim.

There were some frosty beverages being shared as well to cool off from the hot sun. Selfies were the order of the day. The BikiniTeam crew was along to capture the footage of all the behind the scenes antics as well as the dolphin experience itself. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be with so many bikini clad beauties.

The group moved to the dolphin swimming area and the excitement of getting into the pools was over the top. A quick dunk in the cold water and it was time to get up close and personal with these amazing creatures. Whether it was a belly rub by the girls, a foot push across the pool or some amazing flips and jumps, the dolphins really delivered an experience of a lifetime. Our crew captured some awesome footage and got to enjoy a swim with dolphins as well. We will definitely be back.

When the sun goes down on the tropical paradise of Punta Cana, the heat goes up. The trip to Coco Bongo has always been a much anticipated night on the town where everyone gets to party. Right from the moment we arrive at the entrance of the club, the energy was pumping. After a quick group photo with the massive Spider Man statue, it was time for some dancing and drinking at the outside bar.

The swimsuit models gave us a little sample of what we could expect inside while we were waiting to get into the club. Once everyone went inside, it was time to take it to the next level. The club basically belonged to the contestants. Several of the girls were chosen to interact with and be part of the show from BeetleJuice, PitBull and Michael Jackson tributes to dancing on the bar and the main stage. Everyone got into the groove including our very own host Tyler Suess.

Aside from all the extra curricular activities during the week long event, we did find time to shoot a few girls for Model of the Month including Australian Casey Boonstra and Monster Energy Girl Hollie Hoosline just to name a few.  Stay tuned with our video coverage of the Miss SwimsuitUSA International Finals to see all the swimsuit models compete for the ultimate title.
