Every year there is a gathering of beautiful bikini models from around globe to experience the opportunity to compete as a finalist in the SwimsuitUSA International Model Search Pageant World Finals. We are stoked to be able to bring you all of the fun, festivities and pageantry that make up this week long event. It was first class treatment all the way for the BikiniTeam crew. From champagne at check-in, unlimited food and drinks at any of the restaurants to late night room service complete with a full liquor bar in every room.

In November 2016, the tropical island of the Dominican Republic was the destination of choice. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana was the host venue for this celebration of beauties. BikiniTeam was once again there as the official media partner for this annual event. Our crew is always game to take part in creating some awesome videos and spectacular photos as well as having a little fun themselves. Okay, a lot of fun. This year BikiniTeam co-founder and filmmaker John Neyrot headed up the group attending the Miss SwimsuitUSA Finals that included photographer Greg Hunter, video host and model Tyler Suess and coordinator Chuck Owens.

The schedule of events starts from the time everyone arrives and doesn’t stop until the last contestant leaves. It’s a jam packed week of some serious fun mixed in with a few photo shoots. Each day started with a quick breakfast, a shot of tequila and a walk to the beach before sunrise to shoot the girls with some amazing beach shots. The pristine beach, shimmering water and cool breeze was the perfect setting. After a quick break it was off to rehearsals for the girls who had to prepare for the big number at the final night. Then it was time for some afternoon photo shoots mixed in with a pool party or two. The group also made it swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery which always a great time. When the sun goes down the heat turns up! These ladies turn it up when it’s time to head to Coco Bongo. One of the hottest clubs in the world. The casino was a popular spot late night as well.

With so many beautiful ladies roaming the hotel and beaches, it was more difficult than ever to capture video and images of them all but we think we knocked it out of the park. We chose some of the girls for our Model of the Month features. Casey Boonstra, Hollie Hoosline, Heidi Jo Medina and Samantha Mitchell were all selected for this special honor.

The week long festivities ended with Australian beauty Cassy Walker being crowned Miss SwimsuitUSA in a fitting end to an amazing week!
