We are thrilled to announce that Karina Ramos is our October 2020 Model of the Month. Karina is a gorgeous model from the Latin American country of Costa Rica. Pura Vida, mae! BikiniTeam.com Co-Founder, Photographer & Filmmaker John Neyrot caught up with this beautiful “tica” while at Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica while attend the Paradise Challenge event there with Hooked on Fashion Tour this past September as well as on South Beach a few days later.

“I met Karina at Paradise Challenge at Hedonism while working for Hooked on Fashion Live and I said to myself was ‘WOW’ when i first saw her,” stated filmmaker John Neyrot. “She is a beautiful red head and we had an amazing time shooting in Jamaica. I was stoked to shoot her on Miami Beach as well.”

Aside from being drop dead gorgeous, Ramos is a successful business woman in Costa Rica as well as a popular TV host and model who started her career at the age of eight years old. Growing up, Karina was constantly on TV and Radio shows as well as a popular young runway model that was featured in several national campaigns in her country.

At the age of 20, Ramos decided to compete in the Miss Costa Rica pageant which she won and represented her country in the 2015 Miss Universe pageant. In 2016, Karina participated on “Dancing With the Stars” in Costa Rica and walked the runway for designers during New York Fashion Week, Los Ángeles Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.

While she is still modeling, much of her time is taken up overseeing her own empowerment school based on modeling and communication skills called: Imagination Empowerment. Karina is also very busy managing her clothing brand named Fireproof.
