We are excited to announce the publication of this exclusive Shakti Shankeerthana video and photos for our December 2018 Model of the Month feature. We shot the exotic beauty in early November during our 2018 CaribTour in Antigua.

“I had the good fortune to meet Shakti at a party in California which I was hired to do bodypainting,” stated BikiniTeam Co-Founder and Filmmaker John Neyrot. “Almost exactly a year later I found out she was going to attend our CaribTour and I was excited to meet up with her again. It was great getting to bond with her in Antigua. She is a unique beauty both inside and out. I love her richly colored skin and cute smile. She has an amazing energy and outlook on life. I am proud to call her my friend.”

Shakti is East Indian and French by ethnicity, South African born and Canadian by nationality. No wonder why she loves to travel and explore new places and cultures. She frequents Central America including doing lots of surf trips down from Vancouver to Mexico and El Salvador chasing the waves. Follow her adventures on her Instagram account here.

“Shakti was very fun to work with,” stated BikiniTeam photographer Greg Hunter. “I am looking forward to shooting her in the future as one of our upcoming Tours.”

We ended up having to shoot Shakti over the course of two days because we got rained out midway thru her shoot. There was a huge ran storm that blew thru and we got caught on the beach under the a tree waiting for the rain to pass. Luckily the camera gear stayed dry which allowed us to continue to take these amazing photos below.

“I loved doing Shakti’s hair and makeup for her shoot,” stated Hair & Makeup Artist Heather Widle. “She has such an exotic look. She is such a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul. I just loved her energy.”

Shakti Shankeerthana is a former Miss BC. She is very passionate about helping others, Shakti frequently donates her time and raises money/awareness for various charities.

We shot Shakti in four looks including a yellow with purple trim swimsuit by Fresh Peaches Bikinis, a colorful Alainah swimsuit by Bajakini, the vibrant South Beach set by Brukinis and the Palmetto Print Amazonia bikini from Vizcaya Swimwear.
