We are beyond thrilled to announce that Shayra Medal is our July 2020 Model of the Month. Shayra is a gorgeous Latina from Canada that relocated to much warmer South Florida. This announcement also happens to randomly coincide with it being Canada Day too!

BikiniTeam.com Co-Founder John Neyrot captured all of this footage of Shayra during a sunrise shoot on the famed South Beach on the white sand of South Beach.

“I have worked with Shayra several years ago and it was great to hear that we would be able to shoot again for our Model of the Month feature,” stated Filmmaker John Neyrot. “She is super easy to work with on shoots. I was very thankful we were able to get the last look in because the beach started getting really crowded and Shayra was drawing a lot of attention from the tourists.”

As it turns out, the beach and sky was saturated in sand all the way from the Sahara Desert. It was brought across the Atlantic Ocean in a dust storm. The African sand made the rising sun look more like the moon in some Star Wars movie.

The location was the perfect backdrop for the shoot. We shot her animal print in the bushes and we found a cool lifeguard stand that matched her turquoise swimsuit. We shot Shayra in four looks including a leopard print swimsuit by Bikini Coast International, a bronze bikini by Oh Polly as well as the peach bikini and turquoise monokini by Misurare Collection.

We had such a blast during this shoot we plan on taking Shayra on one of our next BikiniTeam tours.
